Know our administrative service fee before work begins. We keep our charges separate from government, notary, translator, courier and other third-party costs wherever applicable.
Every document case is a little different, but our pricing is designed to make it clear what you are paying NZ Document Assist to coordinate.
The prices below are our starting service fees. If your case involves multiple documents, countries or additional administrative stages, we will explain the proposed work and provide a quote before we begin.
Document Check & Admin Setup
Administrative review of the information you provide and setup of the document-assistance process we have agreed to coordinate.
Additional services and third-party costs are separate.
Apostille Coordination
Administrative coordination of the apostille process for eligible New Zealand documents being prepared for overseas use.
Government processing fees and any other required third-party costs are additional.
Authentication Coordination
Administrative coordination for New Zealand documents requiring authentication for use overseas.
Government, embassy and other applicable third-party charges are additional.
Notary Appointment Coordination
Help coordinating an appointment with an appropriate independent New Zealand Notary Public where notarisation is required.
The independent Notary Public's professional fee is additional.
Translation Coordination
Administrative coordination with an appropriate independent translation provider where document translation is required.
Translator fees are additional.
Courier & Document Return
Administrative coordination of document dispatch, tracking, return or onward delivery as part of your document-assistance case.
Courier and international delivery charges are additional.
Full-Service Document Handling
For cases where you would like us to coordinate several administrative stages of your document process rather than arranging each step separately.
External provider, authority and courier costs are additional.
International Multi-Step Case
Administrative coordination for more involved overseas document cases requiring multiple stages, providers or onward arrangements.
Government, embassy, notary, translator, courier and other third-party charges are additional where required.
Priority Admin Handling
Priority handling of the administrative work performed directly by NZ Document Assist, where available.
Priority administration does not mean faster government, notary, translator, embassy, courier or other third-party processing.
Auckland In-Person Appointment
In-person administrative assistance by appointment in Auckland where appropriate for your document case.
Any independent professional, transport or third-party costs are additional.
What Is Not Included in These Prices?
Our advertised prices are for NZ Document Assist's administrative assistance and coordination.
Depending on your case, separate charges may apply for services provided by others, including:
- government processing fees
- Notary Public fees
- translator fees
- embassy or consular charges
- courier and international delivery charges
- other independent professional or third-party services
Where known and relevant to your case, we aim to make the distinction between our fee and external charges clear in your quote.
Why Do Some Prices Say “From”?
A straightforward case involving one document and one administrative stage can require considerably less work than a case involving several documents, different destinations or multiple providers.
Using “from” pricing allows us to show you the starting cost while still quoting fairly for the actual administrative work required.
Will I Know the Cost Before Work Starts?
Yes. Once we understand the administrative service you are asking us to coordinate, we provide a quote before the agreed work begins.
You do not need to work that out before contacting us. Tell us what document you have, where it needs to be used and what the receiving organisation has asked for.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pricing
Are government fees included?
No. Government charges are separate unless they are expressly included in your written quote.
Are Notary Public fees included?
No. A Notary Public is an independent professional and charges separately for their own service.
Are translation fees included?
Our Translation Coordination fee covers our administrative coordination. The independent translator's fee is additional unless expressly included in your written quote.
Does Priority Admin Handling make the government process faster?
No. Priority Admin Handling applies only to administrative work performed directly by NZ Document Assist. We cannot guarantee or control processing times of government authorities or other independent providers.
Can you quote a multi-step case?
Yes. If your documents require several stages, tell us what you have and where the documents will be used. We can quote the administrative coordination work based on the process involved.
NZ Document Assist provides administrative document assistance, coordination and logistics services only. We are not a government agency, law firm, Notary Public, Justice of the Peace service or licensed immigration adviser, and we do not provide legal or immigration advice.
Independent third-party fees are separate unless expressly included in a written quote.
